Deion, the suspected shooter in the deadly Atlanta medical facility shooting, has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service.
The 24-year-old was captured inside a gated condominium complex in Cobb County on Wednesday night, about 11 miles from the crime scene.
Patterson will now face charges and stand trial for his alleged crimes.
The arrest of Deion comes after a messy multi-hour search in Atlanta following the shooting that claimed the life of one victim.
The shooter is accused of becoming angered during a visit to a Midtown medical facility and opening Fire. His mother, who was accompanying him, was not injured in the incident.
Police said Patterson was in the medical office building about two minutes after the killing before leaving on foot. Then, the Police said, he stole the vehicle that was running and unattended at a nearby gas station.
However, the U.S. Marshals Service was able to know Patterson and bring him into custody. Following his arrest, the Atlanta Police Department released Patterson’s mugshot.

Deion Patterson Case Details
On May 4, 2023, a shooting occurred at Northside Hospital Medical in Midtown Atlanta. The incident resulted in one fatality and four injuries, with three victims in critical condition.
The suspected shooter, identified as Deion, was at the facility for an appointment. He was looking for new treatment after being dissatisfied with the care he received from the Department of Veterans Affairs. However, he became agitated and used a handgun to open Fire.
After the shooting, he walked out of the building and to a nearby gas station, where he got into an empty pickup truck that was running.
Throughout the day, Police searched many locations for the shooter. At about 7:45 pm ET, an undercover officer saw Patterson and confronted him. He was then arrested without any trouble in Cobb County near the Truist Park baseball field.
All of the people who were hurt were women. Three women taken to Grady Memorial Hospital are in serious condition, while another is stable.
One patient had been shot in the belly, another in the arm, and the third in the face when admitted. At this point, it is unclear if Patterson knew any of the victims.

Deion Patterson is the 24-year-old man from the Atlanta area responsible for the shooting at Midtown Atlanta.
According to reports, Patterson had joined the Coast Guard in July 2018 and had been serving as an Electrician’s Mate Second Class.
However, he was released from active duty in January 2023, although the Coast Guard has not provided any details on the nature of his discharge.
The Coast Guard has since confirmed that it is aware of the Atlanta incident involving Patterson.
Meanwhile, the authorities have revealed that the shooting occurred on the 11th floor of a medical facility, where all five victims, four women aged 25 and 71, were shot in a waiting area.
Tragically, a 39-year-old woman lost her life in the incident, while the others were rushed to Grady Hospital for emergency treatment.
