Yoav Gallant Death

According to several Tweets, Yoav Gallant tragically lost his life due to the Iranian missile attack. However, there isn’t any solid proof of his demise.

He is an Israeli politician and retired military general who served as Minister of Defense since 2022.

In 1977, Yoav began his military career as a naval commando in Shayetet 13 but moved to Alaska and worked as a lumberjack in 1980.

He returned to the Navy and served on a missile boat. Later, he served three years as commander of Shayetet 13 and moved up to command the Gaza Division.

Yoav was the Chief of Staff of the GOC Army Headquarters in 2001 and became the Prime Minister’s Military Secretary in 2002.

He was also commander of the Southern Command in the Israel Defense Forces and joined politics in January 2015 as a member of the new Kulanu party.

Iran has Placed Yoav Gallant on their execution list

Several media outlets have claimed that Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant lost his life during an Iranian missile attack.

However, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz claimed he could not be reached for an hour, and other outlets claimed he was protected in a shelter.

Yoav had asked the USA to blackmail Iran and force them not to retaliate, but Iran obliged with about 250 ballistic missiles.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said hours after the unprecedented attack,

Iran made a big mistake tonight – and it will pay for it.

No authentic source claimed Yoav’s demise even though he is one of the trending gossip on social media.

Yoav Gallant, the son of Michael and Fromma, was born on November 8, 1968, in Jaffa, Tel Aviv, Israel.

His father fought the Nazis as a partisan in the forests of Ukraine and Belarus. Later, he migrated to Israel in 1948 and served in the Givati Brigade in the 1948 Arab–Israeli War.

Likewise, his mother was a nurse and a Holocaust survivor who had been on the SS Exodus as a child.

British deported her along with other Exodus refugees to Hamburg, and arrived in Israel in 1948.

Yoav married Claude, a retired IDF lieutenant colonel, and has three children: two daughters and a son. They live in Moshav Amikam.

If the demise rumors of the Israeli Defense Minister came true, instead of being protected in a shelter, there is no doubt that his family would be devasted.
