Niall Aslam, an ex-contestant from Love Island is the one who is suffering from Autism. He revealed that he was suffering from Autism Spectrum Disorder.

He left the show after nine days of entering. He later revealed that the show made his condition worse and he was hospitalized on his way out of the show.

Niall was just 10 years old when he was diagnosed with Asperger. He went straight from the show to a hospital. He blames the show set up for worsening his condition.

After ending up in Nightingale Hospital in London, Niall said in a video,” What I later found out is that I had stress-induced psychosis…Essentially what it is, you  get so overwhelmed that you lose touch with reality.”

He also said, “You Kind of hallucinate you don’t know what’s going on, you’re not fully aware of your surroundings, you’re not safe, you need other people to look after you.”

He expressed his dissatisfaction with the producers of the show. He opened up in a TikTok video that the show-runners knew about his medical condition and that the show wasn’t as it seemed.

He lets his viewers know that he is in a good health, both mentally and physically. Now he is an ambassador of the National Autistic Society and is working for autistic people’s welfare.

The 31 years old, shared the news on Instagram in October 2022. He expressed that he was ‘not the same’ as other people of his age and but he refuses to accept his condition as a ‘disorder’.

  1. ‘Suffering’ from Autism, is that a joke? You don’t suffer from Autism you are Autistic and it’s nothing to be ashamed of or suffer from. You can suffer from anxiety which can be more extreme due to factors associated with being Autistic and living in a neurotypical society. The wording of this article is very offensive and certainly didn’t inform the reader.
