Kshordy, whose real name is Terese Powe, is an emerging rapper from Jacksonville, Florida, and a member of the WAWG rap group. He has been making waves in the rap music scene lately and has been instrumental in putting Jacksonville on the map in terms of hip-hop music.

The American rapper’s most well-known song, “Friday the 13th,” is what first made him prominent. He previously collaborated on songs with other well-known rappers like Julio Foolio, Sinabenz, and Ace.

He has also released several other noteworthy tracks, including “Fuck Da Opps,” “Tired of Shooting,” “Let’s Do It,” “Dead Ni**as,” “On Yo Ass,” “Who Really Killing,” and many more.

The rapper’s unique style and genuine lyrical content have helped him establish a significant following, and he is well on his way to becoming a household name in the rap music industry.

Why Was Kshordy Arrested?

On August 3, 2020, Kshordy was involved in a shooting incident at a convenience store in the 9300 block of Norfolk Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida. According to reports, the police were called to the scene of a shooting in progress, and when they arrived, they found him, in a nearby vacant lot with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered an AR-15 rifle approximately 70 yards away from him. Investigators also found spent shell casings from the firearm in the vicinity, as well as a hoodie sweatshirt with eye holes in the hood that doubles as a mask when worn backwards.

During the course of the investigation, the rapper’s DNA was found on both the rifle and sweatshirt, leading investigators to believe that he was firing the rifle during the shootout. As a result, he was arrested and charged with being a gang-related felon in possession of a firearm in February 2021.

Kshordy Sentence And Case Details 

In May 2021, Circuit Court Judge Anthony Salem sentenced Kshordy to 12 years in prison for a gun possession charge. This sentence came after Jacksonville police found him in a vacant lot in August 2020, suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

Before the sentence was handed down, he addressed Judge Salem and told him that he was not a bad kid but rather a product of his environment. He also referred to the judge as “Send’em Home Salem,” due to his reputation for granting lenient sentences.

The American artist was initially facing up to 15 years in prison, but the judge ultimately decided on a 12-year sentence after considering his prior criminal history. Prosecutors had presented a rap video made by him as evidence, which they claimed was a confession.

The lyrics of his song “On Yo Ass” were cited as particularly incriminating by the prosecution, with a portion of the lyrics describing the events leading up to the shooting.

The trial lasted just over an hour, and the jury found the performer guilty of the gun possession charge. According to prosecutors, his DNA was found on the rifle used in the shooting, and the lyrics of his song matched the details of the incident.

Terese Powe is a 20-year-old rapper from Jacksonville, Florida. As of May 2023, he does not have a Wikipedia page, but he has gained attention on the internet following his arrest and sentencing for gun possession and gang-related charges.

There is limited information available about the rapper’s family, but he grew up on the Northside of Jacksonville with his parents. In 2020, Kshordy’s girlfriend, Nandi Wyche, was killed in a drive-by shooting. This incident is said to be part of an ongoing feud between different rappers from Jacksonville, which has resulted in the deaths of many young people.
