Jordan Hazel’s crime was the murder of his wide Keara and their two young children in their home in September 2017 in Tennessee. He shot his wife in the head with a shotgun and then returned home to shoot his two young children before showering and going to bed.
Officers were horrified by the violence when they got to the crime scene because Keara was dead and propped up against furniture in her bedroom. There were also blood and tissues all over the walls.
The police, who arrived at the scene, initially believed that the kids were still alive. They did not have to wait long to realize their error, though.
The officers discovered Kayden’s body wrapped under a blanket in the hallway, while Jaylynn was discovered dead in her crib. According to autopsy records, each of the three fatalities had been shot twice, with Keara receiving head and neck wounds.
Since Jordan was the one who opened the door for his mother-in-law and declared, “It’s done, and it’s over,” the police did not need to look into the murder.
They responded to a 911 call and arrived at about 10:48 am. They apprehended him just outside of his home.
Jordan reportedly told Detective Fred McClintock that he had killed his wife and children after being escorted to the station. On September 13, 2017, he left his residence to pick up a shotgun he had left at a friend’s house.
