The Queen Consort, Camilla, was reported to be suffering from minor seasonal sickness; however, the test for Covid-19 came out to be positive, leading to all the engagements being canceled for the week. Camilla became queen consort on 8th September 2022 after her husband, King Charles, was crowned king after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Camilla grew up in East Sussex and Southern Kensington in the UK and completed her education in multiple countries like England, France, and Switzerland. Before, she was married to a British army named Andrew Parker Bowles in 1973 but divorced after 22 years in 1995.

Camilla, the Queen Consort of Britain, has tested positive for Covid-19 as per the officials of Buckingham Palace. The wife of King Charles III was assumed to be suffering from seasonal illness. However, the positive test for Covid-19 led to cancel all the necessary engagements for about a week.

The statement from Buckingham Palace stated that Her Majesty the Queen Consort showed the symptoms of a cold but later tested positive for the virus and also gave a message with regrets to all those who had a public engagement this week with her majesty had to cancel.

The statement added a sincere apology from her majesty to all who had been due to attend them. The Queen consort was supposed to be engaged on several engagements throughout the Midland region of West of England, including the celebratory centenary of Elmhurst Ballet School in Birmingham.

The Queen was also set to visit the Southwater One Library in Telford to thank staff and representatives for their massive contribution to the community by outreaching voluntary groups. The representative or a spokesperson from Buckingham palace said that the new dates should be favorable for the postponed events and meetings.

Camilla got the coronavirus earlier last year and had to cancel all her engagements for multiple events. Over the past few years, Charles also tested positive a few times with mild symptoms.

King Charles III wanted the public to know that Queen Camilla’s health was improving. Oddly, the Queen tested favorably almost the same time a year ago during the Clarence House announcement.

She was fully vaccinated against the virus at that time but ended up contracting the virus to Charles, which led to the cancellation of the engagements at that time. This time the king could follow his agenda, although Queen could not attend the visit to Milton Keynes.

King Charles ignored all the protesters holding a sign board that says not my king. The palace is currently busy gearing up for the upcoming event on 6th May 2013, which is the king’s coronation after Queen Elizabeth’s death a year ago.

After getting married to her second husband, Charles, she became the Duchess of Cornwall; automatically, she got the second rank of the highest woman in the British order of precedence (Queen Elizabeth was on top then).

After the wedding, the Clarence House, the official residence of Prince Charles, became official for Camilla too. Camilla still maintains the house of Ray Mill, where she lived from 1995 to 2003.
