Colm Donnelly death was caused by a freak accident while he was doing repair work on a car. The death has tragically affected his family, friends and school community.

The 18 years Colm was studying at Gorey Community School, his sixth year in the school.

As a young guy, he greatly loved and was interested in cars and sports. He played rugby for Gorey Ruby Club, a team from his school.

Donnelly, part of a Rugby team, was quite popular in his school and was loved by everyone.

Colm Donnelly Death: 18 Years Old Boy Died After A Freak Accident

18 years old, Colm Donnelly death was announced in a hospital after he went into a coma for several days following a freak accident while working on a car repair.

He was working on a car in 2023, on 9th February, when the vehicle fell on top of him.

Following the incident, he suffered numerous serious injuries and was rushed to St Vincent’s University Hospital Dublin, where he had his last breath.

On 14th February, the 18 years old boy from Gorey school passed out tragically after being in a coma for several days.

Everyone close to him was heartbroken after hearing the news of the untimely demise of Colm.

Colm was from a good family, which was a very well-known and respected family – the Kavanaghs and the Donnellys.

The family is decent, hard-working, and genuine framers, which Colm perfectly embodied.

Just like Colm, his family is also really liked, and they have a huge community here for them. All are ready to support them in any way they can.

Neighbour of Councillor Joe Sullivan, who is a neighbor of the Donnelly Family, said that Colm Donnelly death was a “horrendous tragedy.”

Tribute And Funeral To Colm Untimely Demise

The untimely demise of Colm has left many people speechless and heartbroken, as no one was prepared to face the situation.

Flood’s Funeral Home, McDermott St, Gorey, will host Colm’s funeral on Friday, 17th February 2023.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, 18th February 2023, at 11 Am in St. Pattrick’s Church, Castletown, will be followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Only the members of the family will be attending the crematorium event. Anyone can give donations if desired to the I.C.U. Unit at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin.

One sporting club member said, “Words cannot express how deeply saddened we all are as a sporting club to hear this news. May God Bless his family, school friends, sporting friends and all who knew Colm. May his gentle soul RIP.”

A former teacher of Colm said: “Colm was such a lovable rogue. He was so polite.”

One person said: “You were a real gentleman Colm. Never a bad word to say about any person. May you rest peacefully.”

Meet Family Of Late Colm

Colm was born in 2005 to Walter Donnelly, his father and Louise Donnelly his mother. His full date of birth is unknown as the family has not shared his full information.

He is not the only child in his family. He has a brother named Niahm. He also has uncles, aunts and cousins.

The Donnelly family is from a nice and well-known background and is loved by everyone around his neighborhood.
