Antonio Banderas, originally known as José Antonio Domínguez Bandera, was born to his parents José Domínguez and Ana Bandera.

 José was a police officer in the Guardia Civil and dedicated his career to serving the Spanish nation. Sadly, he passed away on February 2, 2008, at the age of 87. 

On the other hand, Ana worked as a school teacher, nurturing young minds with her knowledge and passion. She was born in 1933 and passed away in 2017,  at the age of 84.

Despite the loss of his parents, Antonio carries their legacies in his heart and continues to honor them through his work.

Throughout his career, Banderas has showcased his versatility by taking on a wide range of roles.

He has starred in action films like “Desperado” and “Once Upon a Time in Mexico” as well as romantic comedies such as “Shrek 2”.
