Asad, the son of the criminal politician Atiq Ahmed, met an untimely demise when his Father was brought to court in Jhansi.
Although Asad’s age remains unknown, he appeared to be in his 30s based on his appearance.
Reports suggest that Asad wept uncontrollably upon hearing about his son’s death.
The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) made a shocking discovery when they recovered foreign-made weapons from the scene of Asad’s death.
Asad was caught on camera firing shots at Umesh Pal in Prayagraj on February 24.
Police officials state that Asad was extensively involved in various criminal activities and was considered the “go-to man” in the shootout.
Interestingly, Asad completed his high school education in Lucknow, where he operated from.
Asad Ahmad Death Cause – Why Was He Killed?
On April 13, 2023, Asad, a key suspect in the murder of lawyer Umesh Pal, was killed in an encounter with the Uttar Pradesh Police’s Special Task Force (STF) in Jhansi.
The encounter also resulted in the death of another accused, Ghulam.
Umesh Pal was a prominent lawyer and the prime witness in the 2005 BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case. He was shot dead in February 2023 at his Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh residence.
The attacker fired seven bullets at him as he stepped out of the back seat of a Hyundai Creta SUV parked outside his home.
After Umesh Pal was killed, his wife, Jaya Pal, filed a report. On February 25, a case was opened against several people, including Asad and Ghulam.
Asad was a key suspect in the case and was known to be on the run. The Police had been looking for him.
