During his tenure, he was involved in designing and programming algorithms for machine learning applications.

His responsibilities also included constructing interpretable network graph models from extensive social media data and conducting research on algorithmic models and frameworks for graph analysis of IP networks. Amodio remained with the company until July 2015.

While attending Medina High School in 2009, he took part as a contestant on the quiz show Academic Challenge, which aired on WEWS in Cleveland, Ohio.

Alongside two other students from his school, they formed the Medina team and secured a second-place finish in the competition.

During the Tournament of Champions, Matt had the opportunity to play with his seventh different host, who happened to be Jennings.
