He underwent intensive chemotherapy and radiation at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

The treatment seemed to work well, as he reported in August 2016 that his cancer had been virtually reduced to zero detection. He returned to ESPN in September 2016 and worked on the NFL’s first-round draft coverage.
