Stephanie Van Dyke, a compassionate and dedicated individual, tragically had her life cut short.
As she pursued her medical residency, Stephanie recognized a pressing need closer to her community.
Driven by her belief in the power of medicine, she extended her education beyond an M.D. degree to obtain an M.P.H. from Johns Hopkins University.
With this knowledge and passion, she co-founded The Sky Lakes Wellness Center in Klamath Falls, Oregon, aiming to improve the well-being of those in need.
Stephanie’s untimely passing leaves a void, but her legacy of passion, kindness, and unwavering determination to improve the world can continue to inspire us all.
A memorial service was held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Cathedral in Helena, Montana, on October 28, 2012.
Her ashes were interred in the church’s columbarium wall after the service. A reception was held to honor her memory.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions were suggested to St. Peter’s Cancer Treatment Center, St. Peter’s Cathedral, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Blanche Travis; her grandfather, Robert Kirkland; her uncles, Bobby Travis, Joseph Keller, Paul Kirkland, and cousin Joseph Keller.
