David Lipsky is a professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and the Asian Tour.

Lipsky turned professional in 2011 and played on the Asian Tour for several years, winning his first professional tournament at the 2012 Handa Faldo Cambodian Classic.

In 2014, he had a breakthrough year, winning the Omega European Masters in Switzerland, a co-sanctioned event with the Asian Tour and European Tour. He finished the year ranked 31st in the Race to Dubai standings.

Lipsky has also played on the PGA Tour, earning his card for the 2015-2016 season through the Web.com Tour Finals.

David Lipsky was born in Los Angeles, California, to Aaron and Yon Suk Lipsky, who are both Korean-American immigrants.

He also excelled academically and earned a scholarship to Northwestern University, where he studied economics and played on the golf team.

David turned professional in 2011 and joined the Asian Tour, where he won his first title at the 2012 Handa Faldo Cambodian Classic.

He then moved to the European Tour in 2014 and won his second title at the Omega European Masters in Switzerland. He became the first American to win that event since 1983.

David credits his parents for his success and says they have always supported him and encouraged him to pursue his dreams. He says his mother, Yon Suk, is his biggest fan and always follows his progress online.

He says his father, Aaron, is his mentor and role model and taught him everything he knows about golf.

David says he is proud of his Korean heritage and enjoys visiting his relatives in Seoul whenever he can.
