Maro Itoje was born on October 28, 1994, in Camden, North London, to his Nigerian parents, Efe Itoje and Florence Itoje.
Parents of Itoje come from the southern ethnic region of Nigeria, a country in West Africa, and they are from the Christian religion. His father is a special need teacher.
At a primary level, he studied at Salcombe Preparatory School in Southgate, North London, before moving to St George’s School in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.
At the age of eleven, Itoje was introduced to rugby for the first time. Later, He got a scholarship at a private school called Harrow School in London.
