Magician Dynamo is the eldest of four children. Likewise, he and his siblings grew up on the Delph Hill estate in Wyke.

Currently, Dynamo’s siblings enjoy a low-key life away from the media limelight. 

Dynamo and his brothers and sisters were raised in the most deprived areas in the UK at the time.

Dynamo suffered bullying at school. At the time, his siblings and other family members supported him.

Dynamo’s grandfather taught him his first magic trick. The trick was to make it seem like Dynamo was much heavier than he was in reality so that other kids couldn’t pick him up.

Dynamo is a huge supporter of Bradford City A.F.C. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease as a teenager. Hence, a part of his intestine was removed when he was 17 years of age.

Perhaps, his siblings were by his side during this difficult time. In 2018, Dynamo posted a video on Twitter discussing his struggles with the illness.

Dynamo was born to his parents on 17 December 1982. Likewise, his family raised him in Bradford, England.

Dynamo’s mother is of English descent while his father is of Pakistani ancestry. Moreover, his father was in prison for most of his childhood. 

In 2012, Dynamo tied the knot with a woman, whom he met at a music festival. The romantic pair resides in a Grade II cottage in Hampstead, London, beginning a new family.

Reportedly, Dynamo’s London home was raided and robbed while he was on a trip to South Africa in 2018. At least the robbery was £100,000 worth of watches and jewellery. 

In 2001, Frayne was given the name Dynamo while he performed at the New York Hilton Houdini’s centenary celebrations. Likewise, he performed in front of magic peers including David Blaine and David Copperfield.

Impressed by Dynamo’s magic display, a section of the crowd shouted out: “this kid is an effing dynamo”, and the name continued.

Dynamo continues to thrive in his career while keeping his family close and cherishing the values instilled in him by his upbringing.

The producers also commissioned a one-hour documentary titled Dynamo’s Estate of Mind, followed by Dynamo doing his routines around the London circuit.

Eventually, Dynamo created viral clips with Coldplay, Gwyneth Paltrow, Snoop Dogg and other big-name celebrities.

Likewise, the magician quickly rose to prominence after posting the clips on YouTube, helping to boost his content to a wider audience.

In 2012, Dynamo won the award for Best Entertainment Programme for the program Dynamo: Magician Impossible at the Broadcast Awards.

In 2013, Dynamo: Magician Impossible Series 2 received the Broadcast Award for Best Entertainment Program.
