Joniah Walker Missing Update: 15-year-old Joniah Walker disappeared from her Milwaukee, Wisconsin, home on June 23, 2022, and has now been missing for a year.
Her mother suspects that someone Joniah met online may have lured her away. On the day she vanished, Joniah was last seen at home around 2:30 p.m.
Walker’s father arrived to pick her up at 4 p.m. as planned but found no trace of Joniah. Calls to her phone went straight to voicemail.
Joniah’s mother, Tanesha Howard, has sought assistance from the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children to help find her daughter.
The Centre recently issued an urgent alert about Joniah’s disappearance on its social media pages and to news outlets.
They created a video with a message from Tanesha pleading for her daughter’s safe return: “Please call me and let me know that you are safe. I love you, and you will always be my baby.”
Also, the National Centre is actively working with the family and has circulated an urgent appeal asking for any information that could help locate Joniah Walker.

Joniah Walker Missing Update 2023
Then, 15-year-old Joniah Walker was reported missing on June 24, 2022, and it has already been a year since she disappeared.
As of now, Walker’s whereabouts are not known, as she went missing without a trace, and her family is distraught and seeking help from authorities and the media.
The Walker family requests that everyone help them find their teenage daughter, Joniah Walker.
As per sources, Tanesha Howard, Joniah’s mother, expressed her ongoing frustration with the Milwaukee police for not designating her daughter as a “critically missing” individual.
The Milwaukee Police Department stated that the case of Joniah’s disappearance is still actively under investigation.
In a previous interview, District 5 Lt. Andrew Tischer informed the Journal Sentinel that an officer oversees the case, and Joniah does not meet the criteria for being classified as a “critical missing” person.
Is Joniah Walker found yet By their Family?
While talking about Joniah, her whereabouts are still not known. However, the Walker family and the authorities are still searching for her.
On the day Joniah disappeared, the plan was for her father to pick her up from her residence around 4 p.m. to assist her in obtaining a work permit.
While her mother was at work, the two communicated through text messages into the early afternoon.
However, when Tanesha Howard later called to confirm that Joniah had gone with her father, the teenager’s phone went directly to voicemail.
“I knew something was wrong right away,” Howard mentioned. She called Joniah’s father, who informed her that he had visited the house but couldn’t find Joniah. He had also tried calling her but got no answer.
Concerned, Howard and her family started looking for Joniah and reported her missing. A neighbor’s Ring camera recorded Joniah leaving the house at 2:30 p.m. on June 23, wearing a green Adidas shirt and carrying a big backpack.
Later, phone records revealed that Joniah had attempted to call her therapist around 3:27 p.m. and sent a text to the therapist that night, indicating that she had run away from home, according to her mother.
Where is Joniah Walker Now?
Nobody has a clue about Joniah’s current address and her health condition as of now.
Although the authorities and her family are still cooperating to find Joniah, she happens to have disappeared in thin air.
As per Joniah’s mother, Tanesha, her daughter had mental health issues, including a history of depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Furthermore, Tanesha suggests that her cherished daughter might have arranged to meet someone she encountered online, and this individual could have enticed Joniah and taken her.
