Big Freedia Partner revealed

Big Freedia has been in a long-term relationship with her boyfriend, Devon, for over a decade. They first met when Big Freedia relocated to Houston after Hurricane Katrina devastated her hometown of New Orleans.

Around 2017, Big Freedia and Devon got engaged and had plans to get married in New Orleans’ French Quarter. However, their wedding did not take place as originally intended.

The details of what happened on their wedding day were recorded for Big Freedia’s former reality series, but the footage was never aired. In a deleted scene that resurfaced, Big Freedia was seen riding away from the chapel while on the phone, saying, “I could not do this.”

Big Freedia explained that despite her initial preparations for marriage, she decided not to go through with the wedding due to various personal issues weighing on her.

Although they did not marry as planned, it seems that Big Freedia and Devon are still together and their relationship remains strong.

Big Freedia is an American rapper and performer known for her work in the New Orleans genre of hip-hop.  As a child, she took piano lessons and sang in the choir of the neighborhood Baptist church.
