Since then, he has played for several teams, including the Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Washington Wizards, and Raptors 905.

In 2022, Payton finally achieved one of his ultimate dreams as a basketball player – winning an NBA championship.
