Police Lieutenant General Surapong Thanomjit stated that Mr. Sancho is set to face charges of “premeditated murder.”

The official further revealed that the suspect has admitted to being responsible for the death of Edwin Arrieta Arteaga and the subsequent dismemberment of the body.
He placed the body parts inside a suitcase and left them in the ocean.
Furthermore, he said the victim became upset after he declined to have a sexual encounter with him.
Consequently, a physical altercation ensued, during which the suspect hit the victim in the head, causing him to fall and hit the bathtub.
In an attempt to disguise the cause of death, the suspect then proceeded to dismember the body.
