As suggested by the Mayo Clinic, GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) is a condition that particularly affects the throat.

Likewise, the condition occurs when “stomach acid flows back into the esophagus tube.” Also, this consistent acidity irritates and could damage the lining of the esophagus.

He said that his voice could easily surpass a parent’s when he was in middle school. Hence, he even called out himself on multiple occasions.

Corpse Husband revealed that the reason behind his salt rock rasp voice was a combination of genetics. He said:
