Head Of Editorial Chris Pollitt Has Been Sentenced To 23 Months
Recently, it has been announced that Chris Pollitt was given a 23-month prison sentence for ABH (Actual Bodily Harm) and Intentional strangulation towards his wife, Deborah.
On September 30, 2024, Pollitt’s wife, Deborah, took to her official Twitter handle to announce the news. She said,
After months, I can finally say why Chris (thePollitt) and I are no more. Today Chris was given a 23 month prison sentence for ABH and Intentional strangulation towards myself. This shocking and brutal attack took place at the hands of a man I loved. It has devastated me.
Moreover, she thanked police officers for being with her from the start to the end of the case. She wrote,
I would also just like to add the Police have been amazing. From start to finish, I couldn’t have asked for better from them. They have been so supportive every step of the way.
Moreover, some users expressed their sadness through comments. One of the Twitter users, Charlie Rumary, wrote,
So sorry to hear this, I hope your doing okay considering what you’ve gone through. Speaking out is Incredibly brave but ultimately the issue of male violence needs far more men addressing it and a massive societal change from men. Currently it’s just brave victims speaking out.
Additionally, Lawrence Whittaker, the owner of Britain’s oldest racing car manufacturer, Lister Cars, and CEO of UK’s #1 car warranty firm, Warrantywise, also expressed sadness as the guy from the car community has been jailed for 23 months. He wrote,
Absolutely shocked and still processing the news about Chris Pollitt being jailed today for 23 months. I thought as a community we’d done a great thing by raising money for someone who seemed to be in such mental distress. However, we quite clearly weren’t privy to who he really was. My heart goes out to Debs – what Chris has done to her is completely inexcusable. I’d like to personally apologise to all of you who donated to the Just Giving page, we just weren’t to know, but I really hope it doesn’t put you off from being generous to other causes in the future, as I know every donation came from a good place.
A Twitter user named Daniel Bevis said that Deborah has gone through an awful experience and Pollitt is a violent and dangerous man.
Bevis also went to Bristol Crown Court, where he witnessed the bravery of Debroah’s statement. He also said Pollitt was jailed for his unforgivable crimes.

But he was abusing his wife mentally and physically. Some users have also said it will be interesting to see if he tries to come back on automotive social media sites when he is released from prison.
