Chinkee Tan, a financial consultant and motivational speaker from the Philippines, is in the spotlight for his arrest news on social media.

However, he wasn’t arrested and has clarified that his name had been misused in deceptive online advertisements.

After his father’s insurance business collapsed, Chinkee helped his parents earn money selling pants, shoes, toilet paper, shirts and other garments.

He sold rechargeable electric fans during the energy crisis that hit the Philippines in the late 80s. 

Moreover, he organized afternoon discos with his nine friends, collecting  500 pesos each. 

Later, he entered showbiz in 1987 as a member of Randy Santiago‘s Hawi Boys. Randy gave him the nickname Chinkee because of his Chinky (Chinese) eyes.

Chinkee concentrated on networking business and vowed to become a millionaire before age 35. 

He formed Millionaires in Business (MIB) to provide life-changing opportunities to develop a financially literate, debt-free society.

Chinkee Tan Warned Public Against Fake Reports of his arrest

Filipino Chinkee Tan’s arrest news was widely reported on social media, but this is untrue. His name has been used to lure people into a cryptocurrency scam.

He has taken legal action against those people who have spread the misinformation.

 

His false arrest news report and deceptive online advertisements linked him to illegal activities.

He encouraged the public to verify the legitimacy and be cautious of such reports. He expressed

We’ve recently discovered that malicious actors are using my name as clickbait, misleading the public into believing false reports about me being arrested. This is not only a blatant lie, but it’s also a harmful tactic meant to defraud individuals.

Although he is addressing the issue head-on, it’s unfortunate that the financial consultant had to deal with such situations.

Chinkee has already reported that several Facebook ads and websites have been circulating false claims. 

Similarly, he worked closely with authorities to ensure these fake reports were taken down immediately.

He reported the issue to the NBI – Cybercrime Division for legal action, including filing an Affidavit of Denial and an Affidavit of Complaint.

Chinkee left show business in 1994 and concentrated on networking business with his friends.

He is also a writer and wrote Six Steps to Financial Freedom.
