In Stony Brook, Long Island, New York, Awkwafina was born to a Korean-American mother and a Chinese-American father.
She is, therefore, of mixed ethnicity. There is no information about the actress’s religion, but through her Instagram posts, we can see that she had celebrated Christmas.
Awkwafina went to Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, where she studied jazz and classical music and played the trumpet.
