Anne Frank’s terrible story is being recreated and shown to a whole new generation through the popularity of Anne Frank videos on TikTok.
Marie Frank, also as Anne Frank, was a Dutch Jewish girl of German descent who wrote in her diary about her experiences living in hiding from the Nazis during World War II.

Anne Frank Museum Has Posted A Sole Video Of Her
The Anne Frank House Museum in Amsterdam has uploaded the sole known film photos of Anne Frank on YouTube.
The only time Anne has ever been filmed is in this 1941 clip. A 20-second video of Anne’s neighbor on her wedding day was posted to the museum’s newly opened Anne Frank Channel.
Nine seconds into the video, a 13-year-old named Anne can be seen leaning out of a window on the second level to gain a closer view of the bride and groom.
At the time of the wedding, the bride-to-be resided at 37 Merwedeplein, which is next door to the Franks at 39.

Less than a year before the Frank family fled their family company, the scene was shot on July 22, 1941. Anne passed away in a Nazi detention camp in March 1945 after the family was found in August 1944.
The video has been in the museum’s possession for a while, but they decided that YouTube would be a suitable venue to display it with the other videos about her life.
It’s another approach to raise awareness of Anne Frank’s life among young people and everyone else in the globe.
Anne Frank became the subject of a TikTok trend
The popularity of Anne Frank videos on TikTok, which remakes and presents Frank’s horrifying tale to a new audience.
These movies, sometimes known as “edits,” resemble music videos by combining footage and old photographs of Frank and her family with moments from other Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl movie adaptations.

The presence of fan edits of Anne Frank suggests that the lives of historical persons who have sadly passed away should be romanticized in the same way as, say, imaginary wizards or is startling and even offensive to many.
At the absolute least, it could represent a sarcastic disengagement from the gravity of historical events or a lack of knowledge about them.
