When Broadway performer Nick Cordero passed away, Elvis was just 13 months old. Elvis is currently 5-year-old and is Cordero and Kloots’ only son.
Three years after her husband’s passing, Amanda Kloots readied herself to deal with the loss of her husband with their son, Elvis.
In a recent People exclusive, the Broadway star said,
“It’s coming, and that’ll be a whole new layer for me and my grief and helping him get through that and understanding that.”
That’s coming up for me, then. I am aware that it is probably not too far off.
Amanda Kloots Wrote her children’s book
Kloots is presently marketing her children’s book “Tell Me Your Dreams.” She was married to Cordero for three years before he passed away from COVID-19 in 2020.

She added,
“On occasion, when we’re discussing Nick, he has become depressed and says, ‘But Dada died,’
After that, he would become quite depressed, which is devastating for his parents.
Since I haven’t yet had to cope with Elvis’ sadness to a great extent, in a sense.
In an interview with People, Kloots expressed her hope that her children’s book “Tell Me Your Dreams” may facilitate Elvis’s relationship with his father.
Kloots claims that her book isn’t only for her kid. As she wrote the book, the actor and novelist made it clear that she also considered families who had lost loved ones and were figuring out how to deal with grief while simultaneously dealing with their children.
