Alex and Abby initially met at the Rugby World Cup in 2018. He was one of the commentators for NBC Sports when the Rugby World Cup Sevens began in San Francisco on July 20, 2018.

Corbisiero and his parents moved to England only a few months before turning five. He first attended Hall School in Wimbledon, then Reed’s School, before completing his education in 2006 at ACS Cobham International School, where he also served as captain of the Cougars rugby team.
