VanZant’s Honda Pilot was buried in Little Potato Slough, a part of the river, about 50 feet offshore from Eight Mile Road, which stops at the water and is about 18 feet underwater.

Jacob Vanzant missing case details
The California native Jacob Vanzant was last seen at Shangri-La Asian Bistro located in Downtown Lodi on February 17.
Vanzant had the California license plate 5JBC311 on a white 2004 Honda Pilot.
His family reported him missing when he failed to return to their Stockton home, according to a statement from the Lodi Police Department.
At first, there was no cause for concern, but on February 20, police discovered Vanzant may have certain medical conditions that placed him at risk.
However, on Saturday morning, the Adventures with Purpose dive team discovered Vanzant’s car 150 feet offshore.
Since then, the corpse has been confirmed to be Jacob’s by the San Joaquin County Coroner’s Office.
