Roseanne Cherrie Barr is an actress, comedian, writer, producer, and former presidential candidate from the United States.

Roseanne started her career in stand-up comedy before obtaining a position on the hit television sitcom Roseanne. For her work on the show, she won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for Best Actress.

Barr began performing stand-up comedy in 1980. Barr rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s as Roseanne, among other roles. Who Did Roseanne Barr Offend And Insult – Who Got Her Fired?

Roseanne Barr offended and insulted Valeria Jarrett in 2018, tweeting comparing her to the apes.

Her sitcom “Roseanne” returned to ABC in March after a two-decade hiatus to massive ratings. Following Donald J. Trump’s unexpected election victory, network executives praised their strategy of connecting to a broader part of the country. The president contacted Ms. Barr to congratulate her on the show’s large audience.

But everything fell apart on Tuesday. Ms. Barr, the show’s star and co-creator, tweeted a racist remark against Valerie Jarrett, an African-American woman who served as a top adviser to Barack Obama throughout his presidency and was widely considered as one of his most visible aides. If the “Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes had a baby=vj,” writes Ms. Barr.

Roseanne Barr Ape Tweet and Comment Explained

Roseanne Barr has apologized for comparing Valerie Jarrett, a black former senior assistant to President Barack Obama, to an ape in a tweet.

“I sincerely apologize to Valerie Jarrett and all Americans,” Barr said on Twitter. “I apologize for making a stupid joke about her politics and appearance. I really should have known better. Please forgive me; my joke was offensive.”

ABC, which airs Barr’s sitcom “Roseanne,” canceled the show later Tuesday, citing her tweet, which she described as “abhorrent, disgusting, and inconsistent with our values.”

Critics blasted Barr’s remark as racist right away. Racists frequently use the ape analogy to criticize black people. Meanwhile, the Muslim Brotherhood is an Islamist political organization.

The actress appeared to justify her statement in an earlier tweet. “Lefties, Islam is not a RACE. “Islam embraces persons of ALL RACE,” she stated.

Where Is Roseanne Barr Now?

Roseanne may no longer be a leading lady on a popular television show but she still has a public persona. Roseanne announced her departure from Twitter following her 2018 meltdown.

That was short-lived. She quickly returned to Twitter, where she bombarded her many followers with conspiracy theory-laden posts.

She is no longer on Twitter as of the time of writing. “Being off that has been terrific for me,” she told the Los Angeles Times.

Fortunately for us all, conspiracy theorists like Joe Rogan were eager to give Barr stage time so she could practice her talent of regurgitating hate speech disguised as laughs. She does bring up a “baby blood-drinking Democrat committee,” so don’t bother asking. Comedy is returning, as Elon Musk put it.
