Australian television journalist Karl Stefanovic Sister name is Elisa Stefanovic. He is a presenter who works for the Nine Network. 

Stefanovic currently contributes to 60 Minutes and co-hosts Today on the Nine Network. In 1994, in Cairns and Rockhampton, he began working for WIN as a cadet reporter. As a reporter for One Network News in New Zealand, Stefanovic joined TVNZ in 1996.

In 1998, Stefanovic was a reporter and host for Ten News in Brisbane. He also stood in for Ron Wilson as a newscaster in Sydney.

Karl Stefanovic has only one sister, Elisa. In addition to Karl Stefanovic, Elisa has two more brothers, Peter Stefanovic, and Tom Stefanovic. On January 9, Elisa celebrates her birthday. She keeps a low profile and hasn’t given the media many details about herself.

Karl and Jasmine’s lavish wedding in a Mexican resort was reportedly planned by the only sister in the family. Karl decided to write a moving poem that touched the hearts of his followers on his sister’s birthday. The Today Show host posted a photo of the siblings on his wedding day and wished his sister a happy birthday and said how much he cherished her.

In 2000, Stefanovic switched networks to the Nine Network where he worked as a reporter and fill-in host for Nine News in Brisbane. He received a Queensland Media Award for Best News Coverage in 2000 for his reporting on the fire at the Childers Backpacker motel.

His coverage of the 2001 Warragamba bushfires from Sussex Inlet in January 2002 resulted in his hire in Nine’s Sydney newsroom, where he later helped with the coverage of the 2003 Canberra fire.

Stefanovic was born in Darlinghurst, New South Wales, to an Australian mother and a Serbian-German father. Peter Stefanovic, his younger brother, works as a correspondent for 60 Minutes.

He graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 1994 with a degree in journalism after attending Anglican Church Grammar School, St Augustines College, and Queensland University.

Stefanovic attended college to study journalism but was unable to get a cadetship after receiving his diploma. On his father’s recommendation, he applied to NIDA, but despite passing numerous rounds of auditions, he was not accepted into the program.

The next year, he was advised to reapply, but he opted to take a job offer from WIN Television in Rockhampton.

He took part in the reality competition Torvill and Dean’s Dancing on Ice on the Nine Network in 2006. He eventually advanced to the show’s championship round, but Jake Wall ultimately won the public vote.

Karl Stefanovic Family Explored

The reporter and Cassandra Thorburn, a journalist, were introduced in 1995 at a party in Rockhampton. They later got married and had three kids together. Stefanovic and his wife, who had been married for 21 years, were discovered to have split up in September 2016, and their divorce was officially finalized in October 2017.

Later, Jasmine Yarbrough and the reporter announced their engagement to the public in February 2018. In a Mexican wedding in December 2018, he wed Yarbrough. They are parents to a single child. On a friend’s boat in Sydney, Karl enjoyed a beautiful afternoon and met Australian shoe designer Jasmine Yarbrough, who would go on to become his second wife and the mother of his fourth child.

Stefanovic’s decision to leave his role as a co-host of Today in 2019 was made public in December 2018. In November 2019, the Nine Network stated that Stefanovic, along with Weekend Today co-host and 60 Minutes contributor Allison Langdon, would return to Today as a co-host starting in January 2020.

In June 2020, the reporter celebrate his stay as a Nine Network employee for 20 years.
