Berlusconi founded the media company Mediaset and built a vast media empire that included television channels, publishing houses, and a football club.

In 1994, Berlusconi founded the Forza Italia party and entered politics. He became the Prime Minister of Italy for the first time in 1994, but his government lasted only seven months.

Berlusconi served as Prime Minister again from 2001 to 2006 and then from 2008 to 2011. During his time in office, Berlusconi faced various controversies and legal issues.

She is the chairwoman of Fininvest, the holding company that controls Berlusconi’s media empire, and Mondadori, Italy’s largest publishing house.

Pier Silvio Berlusconi, born in 1969, is also a key figure in his father’s media business. He is the deputy chairman and chief executive officer of Mediaset, overseeing its operations in Italy and Spain.

He is also the president of Medusa Film, a production and distribution company. He has been married to Silvia Toffanin, a TV presenter, since 2002.

Berlusconi has three children with his second wife Veronica Lario: Barbara, Eleonora, and Luigi.

Barbara Berlusconi, born in 1984, is the eldest child of Berlusconi and Lario. She is a board member of Fininvest and Mediaset and a former board member of AC Milan.  She has a degree in philosophy from San Raffaele University.

Eleonora Berlusconi, born in 1986, is the second child of Berlusconi and Lario.  She studied at St. John University in New York and is involved in her family business.

However, there is very limited information available about her at the moment. So, not much is known about her career, education, and personal life.

Luigi Berlusconi, born in 1988, is the youngest child of Berlusconi and Lario. He is a graduate of Bocconi University.  From 2007 until 2015, Silvio Berlusconi was a member of the Board of Directors of Mediolanum S.p.A.

From 2016 to 2018, he continued his involvement in the financial sector as a member of the Board of Directors of Banca Mediolanum S.p.A. In June 2012, Berlusconi was appointed to the Board of Directors of Fininvest S.p.A.

Berlusconi was born in Milan in 1936, the eldest son of Luigi Berlusconi, a bank employee, and Rosa Bossi, a housewife. e had two younger siblings: Maria Antonietta and Paolo.

He started his career as a singer in nightclubs and on cruise ships, before becoming a successful entrepreneur in construction, media, advertising, and publishing.

He married his first wife, Carla Elvira Dall’Oglio, in 1965. They had two children together. Berlusconi divorced Dall’Oglio in 1985, after having an affair with Veronica Lario, an actress who he met in 1980. 

Silvio and Veronica married in 1990 and had three more children together.

However, Berlusconi’s marriage with Lario ended acrimoniously in 2009 after she accused him of having sex with an underage prostitute and attending wild parties with young women.

Berlusconi denied the allegations and claimed that he was the victim of a smear campaign by his political opponents. He paid Lario a divorce settlement of €36 million ($41 million) per year.

Since then, Berlusconi has been romantically linked to several women, including Francesca Pascale, a former showgirl he met in 2012.

They broke up in 2020, and Berlusconi reportedly started dating Marta Fascina, a former model and member of parliament for his party Forza Italia.

Berlusconi’s death has raised questions about his business empire’s future and political legacy.

His eldest children Marina and Pier Silvio are expected to play a prominent role in managing Fininvest and Mediaset.

In contrast, his younger children Barbara, Eleonora and Luigi may have more influence on the family’s investments and philanthropy.
