I Ioved living in England, and I missed it when I left,”. The great thing about living there… was that my dad and my uncles were massive rock ‘n’ roll fans — like hardcore, get-the-record-and-listen-to-it-intently-at-full-volume fans.
Event though he missed his dad, he mentioned that his dad is very proud of him,
“My first professional gig was at Al’s Bar, playing in a band with friends of my dad’s. My dad was very proud of my love of guitar and always bragged to his friends about me.”
Ola J. Hudson was a Black American fashion designer
Ola J. Hudson is a black American fashion designer and costume designer created outfits for a number of well-known performers, such as Ringo Starr, Diana Ross, Janet Jackson, David Bowie, John Lennon, and the Pointer Sisters.
Moreover, she was also well-known for her vintage designs that included 1940s-inspired elements worn by the Pointer Sisters.
Her creations were displayed at the Los Angeles Space-Age Designs: Past-Present-Future exhibition in 1974.
She married Anthony Hudson, an album cover designer, in London. In 1965, she gave birth to Saul Hudson in the United Kingdom, where her husband was born.

After a rocky marriage to Anthony, she went to Los Angeles in 1974 to work as a fashion designer in Hollywood.
About a year later, in 1975, she reunited with her family in the United States after leaving them in England.
But, during their marriage, she and Anthony still had times of separation.
Slash said that once his father left and his parents divorced, he fell into a downward spiral, attempting drugs at the age of 13, getting into trouble, and ignoring his schooling.
