Myrtle Beach: Michayla McCauley tragically lost her life at the age of 28 on February 21, 2025. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend known for her radiant smile and compassionate nature.

As an enthusiastic and energetic young professional, she embraced every moment and was open to new ways of thinking.

Michayla graduated from Myrtle Beach High School in 2014 and pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the College of Charleston

Simultaneously, she worked as a sales specialist at Xcell Wireless Technology in 2012 and served at Hurricanes Bar & Grill in 2013.

In 2016, she was a brand ambassador of Excalibur Events for over three years and became a Chi Omega Fraternity House Manager in the same year.

She joined Class Incorporation as a senior national leasing specialist in June 2019 and moved to Pegasus Residential as a sales expert in June 2020. Likewise, she represented sales development in Benefitfocus in 2021.

Moreover, Michayla was an inbound account specialist at Canva in September 2021 and joined PulteGroup as a customer care manager in March 2024.

She believed that life experiences and people you meet along the way play a significant role in how you interact with the world. Thus, she was drawn to the empathetic extrovert that she was.

Michayla McCauley’s Family Mourns The Tragic Loss

Michayla McCauley, the daughter of Jenny McCauley and Michael McCauley, was born on June 29, 1996, in Myrtle Beach. Her loving parents named her Michayla Leigh McCauley.

She was a radiant spirit who lived joyfully, found beauty in nature, and delighted in life’s simplest pleasures- whether she was making others laugh or watching the sunset on the beach. 

 

Michayla loved dancing, traveling, and cheerleading and had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel special.

Everyone she encountered felt her infectious aura and spirit. Moreover, she lit up every room she walked in, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Over the years, she was skilled in sales, marketing, hospitality, customer service, and public speaking.

She thrived in an environment that allowed her to personalize the sale, spark creativity in marketing approaches, and customize the customer experience for each client.

She believed society had gotten used to instant gratification, and it was essential to provide quick and efficient services while maintaining quality.

Unfortunately, the cheerful soul went to be with the Lord too soon. Her grandmother, Brenda Burnette, grandfather, Samuel McCauley, and uncle, Scott, preceded her in death.

Similarly, her parents, Jenny and Michael, brothers, Cole, Cade, and Makism, grandparents, Bryant and Sandra, and grandfather, Jimmy Burnette, survive her.

Michayla also shared a close bond with her cherished cousins, aunts, uncles, and many close friends. Her family grieves in private and soon reveals her exact death cause. 

Several sources have claimed that she lost her life in a fatal car accident.

Although her physical presence is absent, her light will forever shine in the memories and hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of laughter and boundless love will live on in countless lives.

Nonetheless, her Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Beach Church, 557 George Bishop Parkway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.
