Marietjie went to her close friend Thabang Mochlea from her home to Thembisa two weeks prior to her death.

She was transported to the hospital by her friend Mochlea. She is having problems to come in terms with her friend’s death as she remembers her feeding Bothma and even bathing her before her demise.

According to Timeslive her friend Mochlea said, “I was the one taking care of her while she was sick, and my kids also played a very big role in taking care of their auntie. I took her to the hospital, and they tried their best before she passed away in the morning.”

“I never expected this so soon. I never thought things would turn out this way,” she told TshisaLIVE.”

Marietjie’s untimely demise has left many people shocked and heartbroken as she was well-loved by her friends and family members.
