He said,
If anybody took high school civics class they’d know what the vice president can do and what the vice president can’t do. Neither candidate on that stage talked about what executive action they’re gonna take on day one to do what they want, nor were they asked.
Additionally, the speaker of the university aimed the debate itself, saying there was no back-and-forth between the two candidates, Vance and Waltz, on what executive action they would take on day one.
He emphasized that the candidates did so because they knew it was not realistic for the vice president to act independently of the president.
He added;
That’s not how the vice presidency works. You don’t get to do what you want, you do what the president delegates you to do.
JD Vance’s Criticism Frustrated College Student Marcus Johnson At The Oakland University
During a vice presidential debate between Republican JD Vance and Democratic rival Tim Walz, Vance launched a baseless attack against Vice President Kamala Harris.
