We took each other‘s hands and we danced through the madness of our childhood. In fact dance was a kind of superglue that held us together.” “I admired him. He had impeccable taste. And a sharp tongue, which he sometimes used against me but I always forgave him,”

Ciccone was deeply involved in his sister’s rise to pop stardom in the 1980s. He appeared in music videos like Lucky Star, art-directed her Blond Ambition World Tour, and was a tour director. 

Speaking to Good Morning America in 2008, he said his relationship with his sister became strained for various reasons, including finances.
