Charles and his son launched their kayak on Thursday morning, and no one has heard from them ever since. This incident has sparked concerns among the family and the community, and authorities are actively searching for them.

On Friday afternoon, Lotus, the band Morris is a part of, took to their official Facebook page to ask for the public’s help.

They wrote, “We have been informed that Lotus percussionist Chuck Morris and his son are missing after kayaking on Beaver Lake near Fayetteville, Arkansas. If you are in the area or have any information or sightings of Chuck and his son, please contact local authorities.”

Search crews have been deployed to find the Father and son, who were last seen near the Lost Bridge area of the lake.

However, search efforts were temporarily halted due to severe weather conditions, including sub-freezing temperatures, on the night they went missing.

The search had to be paused due to the lack of visibility and unfavorable weather conditions. The search resumed on March 17, and authorities are continuing their efforts to find them.

The Morris family is on a spring break vacation in Arkansas, and according to Lt. Shannon Jenkins with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, they traveled from Kansas City.

Charles, a percussionist known as Chuck, was born in 1975, making him 47. He is originally from Kansas City in the state of Missouri.

He is married to his wife, Jennifer Thompson. The date and location of their marriage are not known. They are the parents of a son named Charley Morris, who is twenty years old.

His family is distressed because his Father and kid have not been seen since Thursday.

Unfortunately, the family cannot help but worry because one of the kayaks was recovered late that night on the same day, while another kayak was located early the next morning.

The Father and son are still missing, and the search for them continues.

Benton County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Lt. Shannon Jenkins said, “We’ve got the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, our dive team, and our search and rescue teams.”

On Thursday, March 16, a kayak and a jacket were discovered on Beaver Lake, and on Friday, March 17, a second kayak was located in the exact location. Jenkins confirmed these findings.
