According to reports, Andrew allegedly shot Yarl twice through the glass of his front door, just a block from where Yarl’s twin brothers were waiting to be picked up.

Following this, a warrant was issued for Andrew’s arrest, and he later turned himself in. He was subsequently released on a $200,000 bail on April 18.

The situation is ongoing, with Andrew facing two felony charges and due to appear in court on April 19.

The case revolves around 16-year-old Ralph Yarl, who has been shot after mistakenly going to the wrong address to pick up his younger siblings.

Reports indicate that Ralph went to 1100 NE 115th Street instead of 1100 NE 115th Terrace, where Lester resided. Upon ringing Lester’s doorbell, Ralph was met with a fatal gunshot wound to the head and arm.

Ralph is in the process of recovery. He was released from the hospital and is at home with his family. 

Lester said he did not exchange words with the young teenager before firing at him through a locked glass door.

According to a probable cause document obtained by CNN, Lester claimed that he believed Ralph was attempting to break into his home and was “scared to death” due to the boy’s size.

Lester has since pleaded not guilty to the charges levied against him and is currently free on bail as he awaits trial.
