Unfortunately, the captain suffered a season-ending triceps injury in his first game for the Volunteers. 

However, he was granted an extra year of eligibility, allowing him to play in the 2024 season.

Notably, in the recent victory over Oklahoma, he recorded five tackles, showing his defensive skills. 

Furthermore, Pili was honored with the NFF Campbell Trophy Nominee in 2024. He has received numerous accolades for his outstanding performances on the field.

26 Keenan Pili was born on 29 May 1998 to Rebecca and Wayland Pili. He grew up in a family with strong ties to football.

Also, their father’s cousin, Ifo Pili, played defensive line at BYU from 1997 to 2003, showcasing that football runs deep in their family.
