In an interview with the Times, Lagerfeld revealed that since he didn’t have any sons, he treated his favorite model and young Hudson like his own family.

Hudson Kroenig is the son of popular male models Brad Kroenig and Nicole Kroenig, and he has a younger brother named Jameson.

Karl Lagerfeld Dating History

Karl Lagerfeld, one of the most iconic and influential fashion designers of the 20th century, shared a long-term relationship with Jacques de Bascher throughout the 70s and 80s.

The two first met at the Nuage nightclub in Paris in 1971 when Bascher was working as a flight attendant for Air France.

After resigning from his job, Bascher moved in with Lagerfeld, and the two lived together for almost two decades until Bascher’s tragic death in 1989.

Despite Lagerfeld’s claims that their relationship was platonic and non-physical, he admitted to being seduced by Bascher’s physical charm.

Lagerfeld revealed that Bascher made him laugh more than anyone else, and he described him as impossible and despicable but also perfect.

In 1989, Bascher passed away from AIDS at the Raymond Poincaré University Hospital, with Lagerfeld by his side.

Lagerfeld even installed an extra bed by Bascher’s bedside to ensure he was always nearby.

The following year, Lagerfeld purchased a House near Hamburg, which he named Villa Jako in memory of Bascher. In 1998, Lagerfeld launched a fragrance called Jako, a tribute to his beloved partner.
