Jeff Glor hasn’t officially announced his next job after leaving CBS News, but he will undoubtedly continue his career in journalism.
His last show for CBS was on September 28, 2024, which allowed him to bid farewell to viewers.

Jeff joined CBS News as a co-anchor and became newsreader on the Saturday Early Show. He anchored the CBS Saturday Evening News, rotating with Russ Mitchell.
Later, he began focusing on reporting long-form stories as a correspondent for CBS This Morning and also anchored the CBS Sunday Evening News.
He also contributed to 60 Minutes Sports in 2015 and filled in for Charlie Rose on his eponymous show on PBS.
Jeff became the permanent anchor for the CBS Evening News in 2017 and interviewed French President Emmanuel Macron at the One Planet Summit in Paris.
Unfortunately, he had to leave CBS News after 17 years amid Paramount layoffs.
He thanked his producers and editor while leaving the show. Also, he added,

Furthermore, Paramount planned to save $500 million and lay off 15 percent of its U.S.-based employees.
It is looking forward to a merger with Skydance, which will likely be finalized next year.
