American actor and writer Jansen Panettiere is not married. Known for his work in The Last day of Summer (2007), the popular actor was reportedly dating Catherine Michie.

The American actor was reported dead at his residence near Palisades, New York, on the night of February 19, police said.

Several reports, including the police, suggest the actor had been fighting terrible depression and anxiety for a very long.

Jansen had been reportedly dating Catherine Michie for a year long.

Jansen’s last Instagram post referring to his girlfriend was his art, and his girlfriend reposted with #rane, his middle name.

Furthermore, Jansen had been with Catherine since early 2022, and have no posts regarding their relationship before a year.

His girlfriend even mentioned that they had met just a year ago. She stated this in her recent Instagram post after her partner’s death.

Likewise, she posted their picture together and expressed how he had been so important to her, and she even apologized for not being with him when he needed her the most.

This makes clear the actor had been suffering from depression and anxiety.

For Jansen, Catherine and art go hand in hand. He seems to have been coping with his long-term depression and anxiety through his paintbrush and Catherine herself. His Instagram handle is full of artistic posts, makings it clear how enthusiastic he is regarding art. Most of the art seems to replicate his sister and his girlfriend.

Jansen was born to Alan L. Skip Panettiere (father) and Lesley R. Vogel (mother). He was born as the youngest child and brother to Hayden Panettiere.

Conversely, his sister is an actress and producer known for her acting in various movies like “Sister Sense”, “Naom,”, “Ely’s No Kiss Lis,”, and “Lovin.”.

However, Jansen’s sister is yet to speak about his tragic and untimely demise.

Although through her recent Instagram story, she asked for privacy for her family regarding her brother’s death.

Hayden, unlike her brother,r had a more successful career in Hollywood, having to work as an actress, model, and singer.

She has worked in various movies, sitcoms, and series.

He even starred with his more successful sister Hayden Panettiere in Disney Channel Original Movie Tiger Cruise which is the first time both siblings were seen on the same screen.

They were next seen together on “Racing Stripes” in 2005 and “The Forger” in 2011.

She even earned two nominations for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries, or Television Film.
