On April 3, 1995, Nicolle Williams gave birth to Jamaal Williams. The former Brigham Young University running back is raised by his single mother. Hence, he is close to his mother. 

Jamaal’s mother, Nicolle Williams, celebrated after the Green Bay Packers drafted her son in an NFL draft. 

Jamaal and his mother organized a watch party on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at his mother’s residence in San Bernardino, California, 

Jamaal attended Summit High School in Fontana, California. Likewise, the player shined in high school football for the Sky Hawks.

Similarly, he was a 3-star recruit and played for Brigham Young University (BYU).

Jamaal Williams Career Stats And Highlights

American football player Jamaal Williams made his collegiate debut on August 30, 2012. Likewise, he secured 15 rushing yards in the win over Washington State.

Williams had his first collegiate rushing touchdown on September 15 in a match against Utah the same year. On September 28, the player finished his stats with 155 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns in a match against Hawaii.

Overall, Jamaal completed the 2012 season, securing an impressive 775 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, 315 receiving yards, 27 receptions, and one touchdown.

Likewise, the player finished the 2013 season with 1,233 rushing yards, 18 receptions, seven rushing touchdowns, and 125 receiving yards.

Unfortunately, Jamaal suffered a knee injury in 2014. Hence, he was sidelined for the majority of the 2014 season.

In Jamaal’s shortened season, he secured 518 rushing yards, eight receptions, four rushing touchdowns, and 47 receiving yards.

Similarly, Williams did not appear in 2015 as he withdrew from the school and redshirt.

Williams began his final collegiate season, securing 163 rushing yards against Arizona.

In his last college game, Jamaal was named the MVP of the 2016 Poinsettia Bowl. Likewise, he secured a rushing for 210 yards and a touchdown against Wyoming.

In the redshirt senior season, Jamaal secured 1,375 yards on 234 carries for 12 touchdowns. Hence, he led the independent conference in all three categories.

Williams rushed for a school-record 3,901 yards on 726 carries with 35 touchdowns during his early career.
