Jack Ginnivan Parents are from a football background, and his father, Craig Ginnivan, is a coach. Jack is an Australian rules footballer who plays for Collingwood FC and Australian Football League.
Jack was the first Newstead Football Netball club player drafted to the AFL. Before, he played under 12s with Newstead in 2014 under his father’s coaching, Craig Ginnivan. Ginnivan mentioned how sad he was to his parents and Collingwood football family, who always supported him in the game or out of the field. Ginnivan also apologizes to club members, fans, sponsors, and AFL for their poor decision that impacted.
The general manager of Collingwood, Mr. Graham Wright, said that the club was disappointed about Jack’s behavior. He stated that they would closely look after Ginnivan, who accepted his action and provided the support and continuing education he will need to continue the journey at Collingwood.

Jack played many under 13, 14.5, and 17 games at his young age, surprising everyone with his incredible skills and hardworking attitude. Ginnivan started his Australian Football League career in 2021, and the year was his debut on the season as he was drafted by Collingwood as a rookie draft and was picked in the 13th position.
After 11 goals in three matches on VFL, he made his debut against Port Adelaide at 19. He played five games, scoring six goals. In 2022, on his tenth career game, he won the game with five goals kicked by him, won the Anzac Medal as the best on the ground, and also got nominated for the Rising Star.
