After the loss to Saenz, Dvalishvili bounced back with a four-fight winning streak. He defeated Terrion Ware, Brad Katona, Casey Kenney, and Gustavo Lopez, showcasing his impressive grappling skills and relentless pace.

On April 21, 2018, he faced Ricky Simón at UFC Fight Night: Barboza vs. Lee.
