Clive Myrie partner revealed

Clive Myrie is married to Catherine Myrie, an upholsterer and furniture restorer, who lives with him in north London. The couple met at a book launch in 1992, for a book about Swiss cheese, when Catherine was working in publishing.

They got married six years later at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Covent Garden. The couple does not have any children, but they share a love of travel and culture.

Clive and Catherine have been together for almost 30 years and have supported each other through Clive’s various assignments around the world.

Clive has reported from more than 80 countries and has won several awards for his work, including the Bayeux-Calvados Award for war correspondents and the RTS Television Journalism award for best presenter.

Clive Myrie family revealed

Clive Myrie was born on 25 August 1964 in Bolton, Lancashire, England, to Jamaican immigrant parents who came to the UK in the 1960s.

His mother was a seamstress who worked for the famous fashion designer Mary Quant, while his father Norris was a factory worker who made car batteries and carpets.

His parents divorced when he was young, and his father returned to Jamaica after retiring. Clive has four siblings, but their names and details are not publicly available.

Clive studied Law at the University of Sussex and graduated in 1985. He has won two Royal Television Society Journalism awards for his reporting on the NHS frontline of the fight against Covid-19. 

Myrie is known for his professionalism, integrity, and versatility as a journalist. He is also a patron of several charities, such as the British Red Cross and the Anthony Nolan Trust.
