Since then, it has become the most popular paranormal investigation show in the genre.

Highlights

  • Zak Bagans’s former colleagues and other paranormal investigators have alleged that he had a hand in getting their shows canceled.
  • Many of the paranormal investigator’s fans said that they are unsure if the claims are true, but based on their observation for years, they think it’s possible.
  • He has seven tattoos, each with a specific design and meaning.

Apart from being the host of “Ghost Adventures,” Zak also runs The Haunted Museum in Las Vegas. The museum attracts visitors from around the world with its collection of eerie artifacts.

In addition, he has authored several books, which he wrote about his experiences and views on the paranormal.

However, his career has not been without controversy and drama. Many of his former colleagues have come forward and made serious allegations against him.

Friends And Former Colleagues Of Bagans Exposed The Drama

Over the past few years, several paranormal researchers and former colleagues of Zak Bagans have come forward, stating that he got their shows canceled.

The paranormal investigators include Bill Hartley from Ghosts of Shepherdstown, Nick Groff from Paranormal Lockdown, and Dakota Laden from Destination Fear.

The drama surrounding Bagans began in March 2023 when Nick Groff, one of the original creators of “Ghost Adventures,” shared a video on Twitter.

Groff didn’t name Zak directly. However, he referred to him as “the host he was working with.”

Nick suggested that Zak played a role in ending his popular show, “Paranormal Lockdown,” which ended in 2019.

Nick Groff also mentioned that he helped come up with the show’s name.

But compared to Bagans, the other team members are less well-known, like how a lead singer in a band is more famous than the other members.

The reality ghost show drama continued as another investigator, Bill Hartley, made a similar allegation against the Ghost Adventures host.

In Bill Hartley’s own words, “a dou_chebag in glasses on an adventure” tried to shut down their show.

This reportedly happened after Discovery, which owns the Travel Channel, merged with Scripps Network.

Furthermore,  some people support the paranormal investigator and don’t believe he has the power to cancel shows.

I don’t buy the idea that Zak had shows canceled, I don’t think he has that kind of power. Amy Bruni of Kindred Spirits says shows are being canceled because of the merger.

On the other hand, some fans have also expressed that these allegations might be true.

They have shared strong negative feelings about Zak, saying that he doesn’t share power well, seems unstable, and is a bit of a nar*cissist.

Despite the serious allegations, Zak’s skills and talents in paranormal investigation and television production are undeniable.
