Dwight Edward Clark was an American football player who played as a wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons, spanning from 1979 to 1987. He was a part of the 49ers’ first two Super Bowl-winning teams.
Clark gained fame for catching the game-winning touchdown pass from quarterback Joe Montana during the NFC Championship Game on January 10, 1982, in a match against the Dallas Cowboys.
