American television host, radio broadcaster, producer, and television personality Carson Jones Daly worked as a DJ for Southern California-based radio station 106.7 KROQ-FM and as a VJ on MTV’s Total Request Live (TRL).

In 2013, the host and culinary blogger Siri Pinter became engaged to Daly. Mark Pinter, an actor, is her father. On December 23, 2015, the couple got married, and they now have four kids.

Prior to completing his high school education in 1991, the producer played golf for Santa Monica High School. He was a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles but left to play professional golf.

He worked as Jimmy Kimmel’s radio intern. Under the alias “Kid Carson,” he started his radio career at the College of the Desert and as an intern at the then-KCMJ FM (now KKUU).

Daly began his career in radio at KOME in San Jose, California. Then he received the 6–10 PM time slot at KROQ in Los Angeles. In 1997, Daly started hosting MTV Live after being hired by MTV as a full-time VJ.

The first episode of “Last Call with Carson Daly” aired in 2002. In 2003, Daly began hosting an NBC New Year’s Eve special. In 2011, he began hosting the singing reality show “The Voice.”

The producer has four Outstanding Reality-Competition Program Emmy Awards to his name. The independent record company 456 Enterprise & Entertainment, of which Daly is a founding partner, released the “Viva La Bands” collections. He hosts the orange room on the “Today Show” and has been on “My Name Is Earl and Chappelle’s Show.”
