Anu Kanu has filed legal action
The Sri Lankan YouTubers Anushki and Kanushki Premachandra, popularly known as Anu & Kanu, have filed a lawsuit for distributing an AI-generated video under their identities.
According to the report, twin sisters Anu and Kanu went to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to complain about this event.
Anushki and Kanushki Premachandra discussed the video, also referred to as Anu and Kanu.
They informed the media that since last night, an AI-generated film has been making the rounds on social media.
“A video about us that was created with artificial intelligence (AI) is getting a lot of social media shares.
It has happened before as well. The twin remarked, “One specific group is doing this in our name.”
Anu and Kanu told the reporters that the CID has made efforts to arrest the individuals who created the video.
Legal action will also be taken against anyone who shared the video on social media sites like Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and others.
The twins said,
“We had to take legal action because we were being harassed severely and some people were making funny videos and memes about this incident.”

The two, who broke down in tears, claimed they had to file a lawsuit because they were being harassed so badly and urged others not to assault women like this.
