Even though his father passed away in 2000, his mother and younger brother Alberto still live in the family home.

As a child, Bocelli displayed a deep love and passion for music. His mother revealed that music was the only thing to soothe him.

At the young age of 6, he started taking piano lessons and eventually learned to play the saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar, and drums.
